The 4 bedroomed farmhouse also has excellent letting potential. With its own garden and private swimming pool, it can be completely separate from the main chateau. Although we primarily use it for family and friends, we have had no problem letting it when empty throughout the high season (current rental price of £1,450 per week). We have not tried to rent it in winter although have installed wood burning fire to facilitate this. The adjacent barn could be easily converted into further accommodation on 2 floors and again has a wealth of interesting features including an imposing arch.
